A couple of matches England was scheduled to play against Australia and India in Durham in 2014 and 2015 have been moved.
India was scheduled to play a T20 against England in 2014, and Australia had to play a one-day international (ODI) against England in 2015. The match schedule had to be changed because of poor ticket sales.
The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has changed the venue of the England vs. India match to Edgbaston, where the finals of the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy were played. Those who placed sattas on this game might recall that the Indian team had emerged victorious. The England vs. Australia match will be played at Old Trafford, Manchester. Both are extremely attractive fixtures in the cricket satta market.
However, an England vs. Australia Ashes test match will be held in Durham in late 2013; and in 2014 and 2015, England will play a limited over against Shri Lanka and New Zealand. Another test cricket match against Shri Lanka will be played in 2016.
Colin Povey, chief executive for Warwickshire, says that England is eager to take revenge on India for defeating it in the finals of the ICC Champions Trophy when the two will meet again for the T20 fixture.
